Terms of Use

1. You may only submit songs that are arranged or remixed. Only arranged songs will have their own page on the site; remixed songs are secondary. You may also submit a video of you playing a particular arrangement on the site, so that the video can be posted on that arrangement’s page. Credit will be given to both the arranger of the piece and the pianist playing the song in the video.

2. You may only submit your own work. Submitting someone else’s work as your own is BAD. Copying from a sheet music book is also BAD. Even copying straight from a midi is plagiarizing from the person who created that midi, so please: make it your own work. You may only submit someone else’s sheet music if vgvirtuoso receives written consent from the original arranger.

3. You must credit the original composer of the song. You didn’t make the song, he did. All songs, characters, games, and franchises are copyright their respective companies. Due credit must be given on each and every sheet.

4. All sheet music is copyright its respective arrangers.

5. Arranging for this site is a recreational activity; we will not sell your arrangements for profit, or use them in any sort of corporate way. You, the individual arranger, are free to do with your sheets as you wish, including having them removed from vgvirtuoso at any point you wish.

6. Vgvirtuoso holds the power to do remove your sheet music from the site at any time.

7. You may not take someone’s sheet music from this site and pass it off as your own on another site. If this activity is reported to us discipline will be used.

8. Follow the rules to submission for submitting sheet music.

9. Only submit video game sheet music.

Terms of Use - Forums

1. Flaming is prohibited. This is particularly prevalent in the debate board.

2. No trolling, spamming, or any other annoying behavior. You will be slowpoked. Hard.

3. No sexually-explicit material is allowed. If it directly pertains to a topic, and is part of a joke or something, just put it in spoiler tags and give a warning.

4. No plagiarizing content.

5. Vgvirtuoso holds the right to ban anyone who violates a rule from the forums.

6. Vgvirutoso cannot possibly encompass every rule, so we reserve the right to take any action deemed appropriate to uphold the well-being of our forums. We won’t be dicks about it though :).
